+2 Programme (Science, Management, Humanities)

The NEB (National Examination Board, Nepal) +2  is the pathway to further education for post-SEE (or equivalent level) students. The two-year +2 curriculum is an academically challenging period so our young scholars need to have motivation and should focus upon set goals.  Close and regular interaction between students and teachers brings about active learning, good results, student satisfaction, and continuing interest in education.

+2 at Trinity

Our +2 programme in combinational subject groups encompasses Science, Management, and the Humanities. Our teaching methodology has been designed to ensure outstanding results. Our faculty delivers theory classes supplemented by practical demonstration, question-and-answer sessions, and discussions. To ensure the best results, students are required to do their daily homework, class assignments, special projects, individual or group presentations, and adequate self-study. Trinity methodology emphasizes periodic assessment incorporating various tests.

Cambridge International A levels

The Cambridge International A Levels open up a world of educational opportunity for highly motivated post-SEE (or equivalent-level examinations) students. Course requirements divide the subject content of the A-Level syllabuses into two parts: the AS syllabus content, which is expected to be covered in the first half of the course, and the second part of the syllabus, commonly referred to as A2, taken at the end. International AS and A Level examination sessions occur twice a year, in May/June  and October/November,  with results issued in August and January respectively. AS and A Levels use a wide range of assessment processes and techniques to supplement formal written examinations practicals, projects, and coursework.

A Levels at Trinity

Trinity International College envisages delivering the best available A Level instruction and all-round educational opportunities to students.   We offer a combination of a reasonably wide and decidedly pragmatic choice of subjects for AS and A Levels. Our specially designed A Level subject combinations to fulfill the requirements of and to prepare students for university studies such as science, medical, engineering, business, and liberal arts. Students have to choose at least three subjects at A Level in addition to the General Paper (English) the compulsory core subject at AS Level. Satisfactory A Level grades can also be a key to university admissions which accommodate Credit Transfer and Advanced Standing (particularly in the USA or Canada) and give A-Level students access to undergraduate studies at the very best institutions of higher learning. Examinations in Nepal are managed by the British Council, Kathmandu, which is the recognized centre for GCE exams for Trinity International College.
